Hi everyone, I purchased my 05 QC this past Monday and love it! Its basically stock except for a CAI that was on it when I bought it and no rear wing. I plan to add a tune as soon as possible but thats probably it for a while if I can restrain myself. Im not one to leave well enough alone and Im a mechanic so chances are Ill be doing something to it. Hoping to contribute if can.

Welcome to the club, enjoy and congrats on your new ride.

Thanks Im pretty excited. Came from an 02 HD F150 that I had modded running 12PSI - quick truck. It was time for a change but needed a truck that had to be cool, along the lines of what I currently had and if it sat 6 that would be perfect! Im surprised how solid this SRT feels, how well it handles and especially stops. Unlike the HD they addressed every aspect of the truck which I hadn't expected. The lightning power train is all they put in the HD leaving brakes and suspension regular run of the mill weenie truck. Fast but thats it. Hoping the tune gives me a little more grunt.

Welcome, what part of Ontario? I'm going to guess southern part as you are driving already and there is no snow in the pictures

Barrie and we have snow, the truck was in Orillia at a Dodge dealer and the pic was taken in the fall before they stored it in the showroom. Where are you?

Im in the Sarnia area an all the snow is gone an we had a few good rains thinking about getting the truck out monday when i get my mirrors back from the paint shop

First repair is my sagging hanging sorry excuse for a hood pad so I ordered a new one from the dealer along with a trans pan gasket and filter. The rest of the truck is super clean I don't understand what happened to the pad unless its the scoop letting the pad get wet? Before I bought the truck I noticed the pan gasket was leaking so once the pan is off Ill adjust the bands.
