Another track day

Had another track day tonight and need some input.
1st run 13.9 @115mph with a 60' of 2.6.
2nd run 12.6 @116mph with a 60' of 2.35
I cant seem to keep the tires from breaking off the line. I am heating them up, but they just break loose. I havent tried drag radials yet and im sure that if I didnt burn out at line I would be in the low-mid 11's. Any input on this.

DRs would probably get you high 11s trapping 116mph......I have the same problem...no off line traction...

I guess thats what I need to do. The power is there and the turbos are kicking in real nice, but im not getting that jump off the line. Real frustrating and getting really messy with all the rubber on the body and wheelwells.

Your HP is similiar to mine...Rule of thumb is every tenth off at 60' equal 2-3 tenths off the qtr time.....that first 60' is really important for low ETS.....

Congrats, you have a great foundation to start, now to just get that power to the ground.

Seems like you have the power to run in the 11's. Can you ramp in the power of the turbo off the line? It seems to me that that would be the way to go along with the Detroit Locker from Stinker so you could accept slicks. What kind of mods have you done to the trans?
