Anyone removed antenna.....is there a windshield mount or some other type? Paint mods coming and it seems the antenna may intrude on the paint scheme I've come up with.

LOL good one.

BTW: nice looking drop of the truck DVS MAX !:congrats:
Which kit did you use?

Someone, I think Stinker, can't remember, took there's off and fastened it on top of the inner fender. Antenna's gone and still gets reception.

demon8s truck has it hidden but he bought it like that from poundstone just an fyi

Thanks for all the replies. Lovin the idea of running it inside the fender. Not too worried about reception really....don't drive the truck to listen to the radio (lol). Not sure what brand of lowering kit....had it done at a hot rod shop http://www.360fabrication.com/Homepage/ $750 all included. Couldn't beat price anywhere. Supplier screwed up and I got the deal. SRTBRAD - you local? Not everyone knows about main and hastings, but good point!! I'd love to meet other owners in the area. Maybe even down at mission raceway and give them all a show.

Haven't got an antenna yet. Derek had it shaved but never installed a new hidden antenna. I prefer to listen to the truck anyways

BTW Derek just won the Arnold Classic
Congrats Derek, now get the WSM:rock:

My brother in law is a Vancouver Police Dept cop and that is the area he complains the most about. BTW I used to be local and lived in Coquitlam for many years. I simply got tired of rusting and moved to SoCal. Is the Robson St scene still jumpin?

its in the fender the last time i seen it

I looked at other thread.....pics gone from stinkers. Any chance on a repost of pics - with these badges? Sounds rather interesting. Still won't work with paint scheme, Candy green on some body lines.....eg off top of headlight following body lines back into door with ghost flames. Haven't seen this done, but antenna is completely in the way. Don't worry, pics will be posted when done. I'll be after 2 of those powerstick mufflers as we are also gunna add another cutout in rear bumper for dual exhaust.

Yes, my antenna is now hidden in the windshield and the antenna hole filled in.

i got a short one from Dragon@avondale in Az . it looks good and was cheap.

Thanks for all the help.....inside fender its going to go. Got Satellite radio anyway, only 1, yes 1 good radio station anyway even though it sounds like it won't matter on the reception.

I got a black stubby antenna, but I should have just shaved it off altogether since I NEVER listen to the radio in there..

Great to see another Mineral Grey 06 in town that makes 2 RC's and 1 QC that I know of.
For the record someone bent the shizz out of the antenna on my jeep 2 days ago (it's the same) I took it off to straighten it out and the reception was OK.
