I've run Kuhmo Ecstas on my Z for awhile......

I wouldn't say "good handling for the money". I'd say that they're a decent tire for the money.....

They get kind'a hard and lose their bite after a year or so.... So, burn 'em up and buy another set. That's about all they're good for.....

This is one of the few brands that you can buy an oversized tire...i.e 325/22R
And there NOT CHEAP either...... $339.00 a copy. Now I hear that there over $379.00 a copy.
The 325's in the rear give you a little more rubber to the ground.

Khumos???? I am getting new tires this weekend and would love to put 325's on the back.

I don't know whether it's the same in the US but Continental's are half the price of Pirellis and still have the same 114W load/speed rating.

I read somewhere on here that a lot of people really rate them above the Pirellis too.

They will be my next choice.

Ive used them i didnt have any problem w them , i also have used lexani, and roadian something like that all good trction liked much better than pereli crap. You can get them cheap and will last as long if not longer than the pireeli crap.

Wow it really is a mixed bag based on personal experience, I think I am going to try the Continental Brand as the 114 " W " rating comes into play, and the price is right;)

I just put a set on my truck about 2k miles ago. They ride and handle great. I would buy them again for sure.

last night i stayed up looking at tires after you posted this thread cuz i will need new ones soon and i think that i will probably get the nittos just saying!

I have been running the Kumos for a while now great tire,if you want Welsham you can come to the house and drive mine.

I'll be buying (4) new tire's this week,I like the Pirelli's,(here come's the Mail).
I,Unlike the majority,Love the Pirellis.I found them on line at TireRack for $215.00 ea.The Nitto 420 is also a good tire, wears well and rides nice,I do not have any experience with Kumho's other than I have read that they are noisy and have limited traction.Tire's are your lifeline to the road,Choose whatever brand caters to your driving style carefully and enjoy!!
