You know, I can see it done up color-matched around the outside and blacked out inside. Proper prep and the right paint could make that work easily.

Bottom lines:

It's your truck.
It's cheap and easy to try out.
If you don't like it, put the stocker back on.
If you like it and nobody else does, f 'em. (See the first item.)
