anyone else have problems Speeding?

I would be lying if I said I didnt speed...Its tough not to cruise at 75 or 80mph because anything lower kinda lugs the engine. However its the accel that I like but I have to admit after almost 2 years punching it every single time kinda gets old.. It could also be that the bike just put speed on a whole different level for me. Or it could be the fact that the speeding tickets are another expense that I could not afford when dealing with the payment, insurance, and fuel at around 300-400 bucks a month. Thats what stops me...

idk it's hard....same thing with the trucks i guess 6 gear is pretty much useless until about 70...and heck if you think about you can pull 5th gear to 120+mph and then six doesn't even sound like it's stretching it's legs... idk i guess a Radar detector is a must

Try driving an 04 with the factory 4.10's, 6th is useless until 80. At 80 in 6th the Ram cruises along at 1,500 RPM. I've gotta get some new gears in the near future but I'm thinking of FI in swhich case the 4.10's would be fine!

I added to my recent collection of tickets this AM. . . .

I was in a string of cars - "going with the flow". It was myself and two other cars. I was in the middle. All three of us got pulled over. It was damned ol' speed-trap!!!!

same thing happened to me, though i was the only one pulled over........ cops pay more attention to a fast truck than a toyota.........
radar detector is a must........ if you're going to drive the baddest truck around, better be willing to take the good attention with the bad......

i used to speed everywhere, but i guess driving an OTR(over the road) truck for a year(limited to only 65mph:sleep: ) calmed me down i guess, i just drive the speed limit mostly, skip gears when i shift(1-3-5-6). still love to take it to the dragstrip though....:rock:

what type of laser are they using now? i thought my cobra was advanced,i have a cobra and it has laser detection but got caught speeding, it didn't alert:dontknow: , and another time a couple of us,traffic, were speeding and police sitting in middle of 6 lane with grass divider pulled out to catch lead car,again no radar or laser alert:dontknow:
