anyone have a kfx 450R?

I don't know about biased but I figured that would surface. Let me give you a list of bikes I have on hand.
On hand now and all in running condition..
2001 Kawasaki KX500
2001 Yamaha YZ250F
1999 Honda CR80 Big Wheel
2003 Honda CR150F
1997 Kawasaki Bayou 220
2007 Suzuki M109R
2006 Yamaha TTR90
2001 Yamaha Raptor 660
2007 Arctic Cat DVX400
2004 Suzuki 500 Vinson
This list doesn't look very biased. I like all brands and they all bring something different to the table.
I don't like Honda's newer ATVs very much. The 4x4 have pushrod engines (60s era for Japanese Engines) and are mostly air cooled with oil coolers (again what technology). The sport bikes have unicam, fancy name for single cam engine. They do perform well but imagine if they used a twin cam like they used back in 1983 and such.
Compared to the other Japanese Companies, Honda just seams to fall short on value IMO.

Sounds like a very biased Suzuki owner to me. During my testing faze the suzuki was last on my list. The only thing I liked about it was how low it sat. I would go test ride them for yourself to see what fits you. But I'm willing to bet that suzuki won't even be a contender. And even the lower stance wouldn't work for me. I take mine everywhere and over anything. I'd spend half my day getting it off of logs if I lowered it.

If your worried about logs, you should have went with the Polaris Predator 500 with IRS. This is a sport quad that will run competitively or faster than your Raptor and has tons of ground clearance.

The polaris felt like it was put together with pixi-sticks. Didn't have a solid feel at all.

Minus the 660raptor which feels nothing at all like the 700, you don't have anything like the 700. I'm trying to figure out why you like the suzuki. What experience do you have with it?

I am speaking generally of Suzuki vs other brands. Compare price and options before you buy. I have proven Suzuki reliability every time I pull a grizzly home from a mud run. And yes, this has happened at least 3 times in one summer. The Hondas I rode with done better but didn't have enough power for mud with the pushrod engine.
Your Raptor has barely more ground clearance than any 450 and would be almost identical with the same tire size. The Predator feels wobbly because of the IRS. It takes much getting used to but, is the best woods quad available. Nobody else has comparable sport quad ground clearance.

I really enjoyed talking with you fellas. Sorry to see you have to sell. Get back into riding as soon as you can. Any ATV or motorcycle is a great past time. It sure beats couch tatoring!!!!

Yeah that's no lie. Last year before wife got sick we rode around 3 days a week. I'll get more next year but I'm thinking about a rhino or something to cruise in.

RZR all the way! Do not buy the cheap Chinese knock offs, they are juuuunnkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RZR is the Polaris correct? I saw one at sams club, looked insanely quick.

They are fast! Polaris is correct, they really have no competition in the side by side market.

We've been talking about it and I think it's the way to go. Soon we will be adopting a sibling group so this IMHO would be much easier to haul everyone around in.

Be careful with it, donuts are a blast with them but, my friend has rolled his twice in a summer. He has never been hurt as they have good safety belts and roll bars.
