3500 Mega Cab Dually 2wd 6 speed Manual Laramie. Not a single one in the entire US, 2010-2011 in dealer inventory. Hard enough to find a 2wd 6 speed with any options much less a Laramie. Cant justify an auto (especially a chrysler auto), and wanting to do the lowered on 24" semi wheels look.

Thanks Jeff, Ill give it a try!

why do you want the new diesel?
that's why i bought a 2006, to avoid that crap.
expect 10ish mpg until you do a delete, and 12-14 after that. you will not see mid 20's with that truck, ever.

been thinking of doing 22.5 myself.
and a small rear drop.

Lots of guys are seeing 20+ with programmer and deletes. Buddys new 2011 2500 crew 4X4 consistently gets 15mpg split city/hwy 100% stock. Doing an H+S minimax, all deletes, 5" exhaust and my own cai and hoping for high teens.

I was dead set on buying a 06-09 mega but after 3 months of looking I didn't find a single one with leather, and 3-4 year old stripper trucks with 50k miles are still bring mid 20's, I bought my very loaded new one for $41,900.

most people need a bullshit factored in.
i get a solid 19 on winter 60/40 mix.
23 when i am south. i could do a front curb scraper mod and gain 2.
also running the tires at low psi.
2WD is the way to go thou. just DO NOT leave the driveway. the front end sinks everywhere. i have been pulled out 4 times now in my own yard.
you doing a turbo?

41,900 is an awesome price! how did you get it 10k under book?

.... pretty sure that one is a 4wd. A slammed 2wd would be EVIL. :)

No plans for a turbo, only doing mpg mods, no point in trying to make a 7500# truck fast IMO. Of course this has been the worst winter we've had in years, my wife can't believe I bought a 2wd, but I love the lowered dually look. I can drive the srt10 all but a couple days a year so I'm not worried about it.

friends and family discount, 3k in incentives and worked another 1000 or so off the price. Plus they gave me 18k for my stock truck with 57k miles.

Sorry tried multiquoting from phone unsucessfully. Yes Jake those pics you posted in another thread sold me on a new Mega 1 ton, once I saw that I never looked back!
