To remove the door panel from a '98 Buick LeSabre?

There are bolts that I know must be there, but I have no clue how to get to them. :dontknow:

Everything that I pull that I think should just be held on with the little plastic anchors, seems to be bolted, but I can't see the bolts!! :confused:I don't want to pull anything off and break it, but I need the door panel off so I can replace the mirror!

Anybody???

TIA

alot of the time the bolts are under the arm rest....you have to slide it back and up or some shite like that.

I never thought about sliding it! But there are definitely a couple under there.

Thanks, I'll give that a try...

Look around the bottom of the panel, sometimes they are hid in the capret panel.

Armrest like he said is probably where the problem lies.

Yeah, definitely feels like the pressure is from under the arm rest. Nothing hidden in the carpet either, I searched there too. What a PITA! I thought this would be a simple 5 minute fix.

Most GM door panels go UP then OUT. My parents had "new" Monte Carlo back in 96 and their panels were that way. My Trans Am was like that as well. They did away with the flimsy clips.

by looking at the door panel,i would say ya have to pull the window switch panel (carefully)up and maybe under there is your bolts.

and or pull that wood trim panel off.

When did Jeep go Mopar? If its before 92 I posess all Mopars!! My Jeep is 92 model.

Exactly! I was looking under the switch panel while I pulled it before and there was a bolt that moved with it, but it was just an illusion!

Nice pics Jimi!!

I got it replaced, what a BITCH!! My arms are all scratched up from having to reach up under the window panel/track assy. to (Blindly) work the bolts that held the mirror in place! I got it back together, and only broke one of those yellow clips that hold the door panel on.

No extra or missing pieces, and everything works, including the new power mirror!! ($13 off ebay)

Hmmm... choppers to eat with, or a new car that she doesn't need??????

Dentures. and a SRT4 or 6.
