Anyone removed a leaf spring for more confort

i have my rearend droped cuz im putin the caltracs on. when i was talkin to stink about installation he said u can remove the overload leaf sring to soften the suspension, and it wont affect performance. As long as ur not haulin loads the truck will be fine.

has anyone done this?

Are you happy with it?

I am also installing the drop block to level the truck, does this affect the height more with the spring out (make it too low in the back?)

And finally, is the one i am supposed to remove the thick one on bottom with the bumper on top of it?
