Anyone seen the Daytona SRT 10 Ram???

I like the color but come on he rebuilds it to make it look like an inferior truck? WTF? To each his own I guess.

I believe he will find that most people want their srt's to look like srt's. Resale value is gonna be low IMO.

Resale value should be crap but that's the great part. Someone can buy a sleeper SRT10 for cheap. At least the truck is back on the road and not parted out in a salvage yard. Would be fine to play with at the strip. You could probably make a few bucks.

i have had the idea in my head for a while of repainting a ram SRT10 the copperhead orange color they sold 05 vipers with. but this is a little strange

I thought it would be cool to have a completely unbadged factory 2 wheel drive look a like. I guess it would be more of a muscle truck instead of the full on SRT10 super truck.

I had mine on the 20's and it handles better and hooks better WITH THE RIGHT TIRES. I had my srt on the road for 3 years and 2 of those years were on hemi 20's. Its on the trailer now on the 20's :D

Well done... I wonder how it handles on the 20's

i like his direction. I personally though would have like to just have a bare bone v6 work truck with the viper swap. bone white, steel painted bumpers, steel wheels with the chrome center cap. The ultimate sleeper truck

Now we have an idea. Anybody gonna build one? It would be a mustang killer!!!

Inferior ???? To what ???? Resale value, have we looked at ours lately !!! I'm always amazed at some responses here,it's Not like our trucks are ALL IT !!!!What ever happened to the OPEN MINDED Hot Rodders at heart ??? :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow: I'll talk to the wife, but if I put an Automatic into this it most definitely would be a SLEEPER that "I" could drive !!!

Iteresting that he went the Daytona route..To each his own I guess..A guy at work was borrowing his freinds car for the day..Its a Town and Country wagon..one of those boxy looking things plymouth built awhile back. It had the motor, trans, and rear from an SRT 4 in it..talk about a sleeper..lol..

This would be great, then you would have a supertruck that only weighs about 3900 lbs.      :burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout: :burnout:

This is not a scam, I know the guy and he is a pretty good person. I've bought parts from his salvage yard before and he lives pretty close to Centerville's racetrack so I'm sure it's surprised a few people.

It won't have resale value anyway because it's a salvage title. It wouldn't matter if it looked just like a stock SRT10 it wouldn't sell for anymore than what is on there now.

If you don't know someone I personally would suggest asking if someone knows them before trashing them.

It would cost more than it's worth to me to change something like this myself but he owns a salvage yard that has tons of Dodge parts. All he had to do was just collect up the good pieces and get it painted.

I think it is just so cool and for sure, the resale is crap for both the R title and the Daytona/SRT merge but I still like it.

How is the 4.56 ratio affected, with 20's............anything with a viper engine has my vote,..........good price........... :D  (salvage title)
