Seems like there are a lot of our trucks out there on sale. Makes me wonder are people dumping them for something better, or just got plum tired of em? Thoughts?

Also, how many of us have deposits on the new challenger? I am holding off for the 09 convertible.

I think its because of bad depreciation. Also alot of people like to get a new something every few years. Not everyone wants to keep there srt for life.

I hope to own mine for a long time. It's still worth a lot to me. I think Django was quoted saying "would the last one to lose their truck, turn off the lights?"
I'll turn em out!

You will have company turning the lights off,I also plan on having my truck a very long time,my daughter is 5 and I plan on giving it to her on her 21st birthday.

Plan on keeping mine for a long time too. Hopefully finances will not fall out on me. That would the only reason why I would sell it.

I love my truck, but the depreciation does suck, i got mine new in 04 and it suck to see it lose so much value. And it is not easy to sell eather. I couldnt even sell mine for 25,000 and i have like 15,000 in it. But its ok.

WOW! I feel much better about hardly no mods. I think I'll just spend that money on gas.

I just hope my gt500 is not going to do the same thing.

Thats what you think because YOU have one of these. There are lots of other trucks for sale. Punch in Ram 1500 and you will find tons of those too.
Its just a cycle . People get tired and sell there vehicles and buy other nes.
Im sure there 's lots of people out there who have other SRT vehicles and say " Hey I think Ill move upt to a SRT10" . Granted though this is more of
an item geared to a smaller market. The person who buys this type of truck
is usually n ot going to make it their daily driver.

I think I'll play the pioneer again...Maybe be the first SRT-10 truck to be hydrogen powered...... That'd be da bomb..... (ho-ho-ho)

I couldn't wait and bought a new '04 for $53k out the door. OUCH!! Yes depreciation SUCKS big time.
........... and that would be two of us ;) that price did include a warranty until 2011 :elefant:

Quick

I paid 42k for my new 06qc in april of this year. 0% for 72 months. That makes the payment the same as a used 31k 5 year note.

Write it off the Depreciation Sleeper:D I also Paid 52 k for mine I should came to this site first and did my due diligence.

I bought mine used for 29.5k :) So I feel OK about the $$ thing.

I will drive mine through the entire driving season next year and then it may go up for sale in the winter. Truck was a impluse buy, fun, but want a 32 Ford Roadster.

I didn't plan on selling it when I bought it! resale value don't mean a damn to me nor did the cost to buy it!

It's a freakin Viper truck and they aren't making any more.

When I go -- ......... well someone is gonna get a primo ride!!!
