guys Jase leaves Twentynine Palms next Friday coming home for 2 weeks on pre-deployment leave, getting on the plane for Afghanistan around the 1st of November. keep him and the rest of our servicemen in your thoughts and prayers. a buddy who signed up with him has already left. Gonna be tough watching him leave this time.
Best of luck to him over there. My Bro-in-law is there right now, hopefully he'll be on his way home soon. Hope they all are on their way home soon. Thank him from this old jarhead.

i imagine he's out now trying to get his pipes cleaned out...lol it's good to have him home for a while and be able to spend some time with him. boy is skinny as a rail. i'm sure Dawn will try and fatten him up before he leaves

Jase got on the plane to Afganistan this morning. Tough day at Eddies house I imagine. My thoughts and prayers are out for the young man and all of Eddies family.

A lot of you have met Jase at the Pcb,Fl gtg's I'm taking him this morning and dropping him off at the Marine Corps recruiting office in Dothan,Al where he will leave for Montgomery,Al. then on to Parris Island,SC to begin his military career. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers as he begins this new direction in his life. I'm extremely proud of him for making this decision and wish him the best off luck.

wow....this really gave me a harsh flashback ....when my son graduated highschool he told me he did not wish to go to college and at that very moment ...i felt as if he had sucked all the life out of me ...he informed me he wanted to sign up with the us marines....well i signed the papers for him to enlist ...well now that i look back it was the best thing ever ...my son is 27 now and a e-7 in the marines ....only bad news is ...they bring all their friggen marine buddies home with them for the holidays ...so get ready for your 26lb turkey to be devoured at one sitting ...sheeshhhhhhhhh....
i have full faith in the us marines ...OMG ...THEY MADE HIM A "MAN"

OOOOOHHHHRRRRRRAAAHHHH/MOTIVATED & SEMPERFI !!!
from the few ...the proud ...THE MARINE MOMS

thanks guys for the thoughts and prayers. Keep jase and all our servicemen in your prayers. he called me last night at 10pm waiting to get on the plane to Germany. Foxx i know what ya mean about them making him a man. It's certainly the best thing he could've done. i just really hate him having to go over there. I'd take his place in a heartbeat.

Just a little update. Jase called me Saturday night from Camp Leatherneck. said he was doing good but was fixing to leave there, couldnt tell me where but it would probably be letters from here on out. He really didnt know. Did my heart good to talk to him and to know he was safe. Praying for all our soldiers daily. especially for my boy to come home safe.

Jase is in our thoughts and prayers daily. As a matter of fact I think Betty thinks about him too much!!

Just wanted to give everyone a update. Jase called this morning said he was doing good. Said he would kill for a Arby's roast beef sandwich but other than that everything was good. He asked if i'd decided on which lift kit i was gonna use on his jeep, stuff like that. i know he can't talk much about what he's doing but at least i got to hear his voice and know everything is ok.
