I know a few things about assumptions, and the obvious can be disregarded,
Here is my question. I am new to the srt-10 world and have not yet gotten my truck but have one in my sights. I am sure a few of you have seen my post asking questions about if it is a good deal or not. It is an 04 single cab with 16,000 miles and car fax reads 2 owners. It already has a NOVI super charger on it.

My question is could any schmuck with a wrench do it or would it have to be done by a shop that knows whats going on? the hood has the nice well placed SUPERCHARGED emblem on it and it is so clean you could perform a open heart surgery on it. I don't see headers on it and the exhaust seems to be stock. I am a Helicopter Crew Chief and know my way around air craft and a wrench but the world of these trucks intimidates me. the dealer has a buy back policy and it is still under warranty. those of you that have seen it or looked into it for me said "looks like a good deal" or "seems like a deal" or "good luck!"

I have the wife on board and i am in the process of trying to sell my 05 titan,
4x4 SE extended cab, off road and tow pkg cat back magna flow 33,000 easy miles on it to and from work 25 miles a day for 5 yrs the longest trip it went on was maybe 500 miles round trip "Call Me 850-803-2309"

I'm just worried about the super charger being a shambled wreck and not done right and frigign screwing every thing up. if i get it and it has been tuned and i take the charger off and return to regular intake will that affect the truck since the tune involves the computer.

NEED INPUT BEFORE I PULL THE TRIGGER. Charlie.......P.S. Thanks

PPSS its 1 o'clock in the morning im drunk and recovering from back fusion surgery.. i also have a 05 victory hammer motorcycle for sale.. it kills me to sell but because of back should not ride now. have not ridden it in 6 moths but own the truck and bike free and clear. bike was 20,000 new have 2,000 invested make offer.. i am in florida between panama city and pensacola

Maybe PM ViperJeff the VIN #. If it's in the registry, he might know who owned it. It might lead to info on the install.

If you have doubts about the truck, look for an untouched NA truck. You will then know what you've got and can do the mods you want.:) :)

I always think when you buy a truck like this or a mustang vett camaro etc , and it has aftermarket mods like supercharger whatever . The previous owner prob used to race it or beat the shit out of it . Ive owned 2 cobras and now the viper truck and i would only buy stock and do my own mods . may be stupid being there already done paid for and the other guy took the loss .But thats just how i feel . If your worried i would look for a stock one there is enough around

i wonder if it's tower mike's old truck...that thing was clean...

you don't see many s/c trucks for sale...

talk to torrie at unleashed tuning about an sct tuner...personally i wouldn't drive it hard until you have it on a dyno tune with him to make sure the parameters are right....it's probably a bolt on to a stock motor, which is fine up to about 600hp...other than that, you're asking for trouble.

just check your bases, but you can't build a truck with a new paxton for that price;)

I believe this is the same truck I inquired about in another thread.

It's local to me, but I am not going to mess with it. Rec'd a PM from a new member here who has been by to see it. He bought a different truck... if that tells you anything.

Please put down the mouse and step away from the computer... for at least 10 minutes. :D

with only 16k miles on it i wouldnt be too scared of it. like they say get torrie at unleashed tuning to get you set up with a sct and a few tunes and you should be fine. if you can work on a helicopter you should be fine on one of these motors as far as bolt-ons go. i consider the S/C a bolt on. good luck finding what you want. drive it and see what the clutch and tranny feel like. should be able to see how it was treated.

well it tells me he bought another truck....don't mean shit, if i do it ill have it inspected by dodge before purchase. and they have a buy back program if sumthin goes wrong...

Whatever dude. Just trying to help.

And if it is sold by Texas Imports or something, it is the same truck... unless there are two partner companies offering the same truck...something that is done a lot.

I haven't seen it in person... and I said as much.

Good luck with whatever you end up purchasing.

This isn't the same truck... wow, must be 2 trucks in Dallas with the same price, same options, same color, same year, same mileage. Cool! :)
