ATF and Cat length?

Since it says you have to use Castrol to maintain in the warranty, I was wondering if Castrol makes a good ATF to use and I'm at around 6400 miles is it too soon to replace that and the Gear oil with RP?

Also, What is the length of the rear catalytic converters? I was gonna build my test pipes.

I'd stick with the stock CastrolSyn....i changed my gear oil with Mobil 1 SYN ATF at 6000mi and changed it back to stock in 500 miles. If you like gear noise-whine then go with the aftermarket fluids.

here is the perfect cure. there was a tsb long ago about doing this for shift quality improvements for the 6-speed. use the syn gear oil thats recommended, and add 1 bottle (4oz) of friction modifier, (that is what is in atf is friction modifiers). it works like a dream but without the gear noise. I change my trans fluid every 10k and add the 1 bottle... chrysler p/n for the friction modifier is 4318060ab its about 7 bucks.

ok,gotch ya,Dodge runs Mobil 1 engine oil and the Castrol trans oil?Why not all the same? or does Mobil 1 make Castrol?

the 08 uses a different trans. it uses a tr6060 versus the t56

Changed to Red Line D4 in the trans. The trans shifts quicker but there's more noise especially with my shifter. Seems there's always a trade off when deviating from stock. I may go back to the Castrol.
