How much oil does the auto tranny hold with an empty TQ and all lines and cooler blown out,so completely empty?:dontknow:

Moparracing do you know what the capacity is? Anyone???
With a deeper pan mine took 17 quarts completely empty. So stock should be close to 13-15 quarts. But if you are just draining it straight from the truck, you will need even less. Don't know if this helps you or not?
Mine was somewhere around 18-20 when I put in a dry suncoast and converter. I lost track because I thougt I was done, but it evidently hadn't all circulated yet, so I'd add another, wait, add, wait, etc.
buy two cases and what you dont use you will have left over for the next time you change it.
