You guys with a mag tech pan did it come with a filter extension so the filter can reach further into the pan?

Mine did NOT, was it supposed to?

STINKER!!!!!

If you order them from magtech they to I think , but will have to check on that.

but all this tranny talk makes the ones I can get with a warranty and no clause for nos sound much better:D

WHEN mine goes, that's my plan. But I want to try to make mine last as long as possible.

If you order straight from magtech they come with filters, if you dont , then they do NOT come with filters, ONLY STRAIGHT FROM MAGTECH

52118789 should be the correct dodge part number for the pan filter, but it does make a huge differnce if you just got the deep pan or the double deep pan.
with jsut the deep pan, the change in filters doesnt make that much of a difference

Has anyone tried to ge a powerglide for these yet or they don't have the bell housing yet?

mine came with a filter, but no extension. Is the filter itself different?

Do I need it:dontknow:

no sir, not neccessarily, the fluid is filtered as it comes thru the filter, and its not gonna be that much difference in it and the oem pan, but if you had the double sump then that would make a difference;)

Do you notice ANY difference in power when you remove the B&B Hi-Flows for the track? Sorry, I just saw that in your sig...

Sure do..You have to retune though...

Does anyone know if any of these upgrades to the QC tranny, i.e. shift kit, better band, magtec pan, will void the factory warranty? I would think that if we upgrade it and make it stronger, it would save Dodge $$$ from not having to fix or replace them as often and they would love that for sure

I'm fairly certain that any internal mods would void the warranty, ie: shift kit.

I called my dealership about the magtec and they said not a problem. I would definitely talk to your service manager. If you are really concern have them do it for you.

It depends on the individual dealership. I had warranty transmission work done after installation of a TransGo shift kit. The shift kit was not installed by the dealership. The dealership was aware of the shift kit and it was not an issue. Their perspective was that the shift kit improved the transmission reliability and wasn't a contributor to the problem I was having. I've been up front with my dealer on all mods. They've bent over backwards to help me under warranty on my current SRT10 and previously heavily modded Hemi. When they worked on the transmission under warranty they were aware of my DC Stage II, Roe TB, belanger long-tubes, JMB CAI, belanger high-flow cats, Magnaflow, and of my times at the track using drag radials.

Pertinent to working with a sensible dealership, I'm fortunate.
