B&M Shifter Soon to Release

Do they have any smaller pics of it?


- Choice between silver and black would be nice.
- "HURST" on the side should come standard. B&M logo optional.

Does anyone make a CF t-handle? Preferably without a logo. If anyone sees one, let me know.

I rather have polished for one simple reason. This really is not any black in the interior of my truck with the exception of the bin behind the seats, oh and I guess in the ram head logo on the wheel as well. Everything is dark charcoal/graphite, silver or chrome. I think the polished matches the other stuff better, including the knob with the brushed top.

Do you mean from transmission or the shifter rod part where you could adjust it?

Some good news B&M will be releasing a new upper shifter assembly, it is made out of steel instead of aluminum, So if you already have one you can upgrade for free in about 6 weeks (http://www.bmracing.com/index.php?id=contact)I have the proto type and it shifts smother and I don't think I will breaking this one lol yes I broke two shifters in less the a month :dontknow: :dontknow:

Just got off the phone with B&M. Seems that they are only going to replace the upper assembly if it breaks. They are not going to replace ones that are already in use. They are still 6 weeks out from the new production chrome ones too.

They remembered you though

I believe the term is factory defect. If bm knows of a product problem and waits to fix it till it breaks, isn't that a problem . Just my .02.

They are considering it more a warranty item with an upgraded replacement.

I have not even opened mine up yet in anticipation of just changing out the shift assembly..

I also asked about just reusing the Hurst assembly. He said the bolt pattern may not line up but if it does, go for it. Only thing is the Hurst is a thinner material.

I just took off my gen 3 shifter and bought the B&M man what a differance, I love the new shifter havent missed any gears yet. I know the gen 4 is supposed to be a huge differance then the gen 3 but at 218.00 bucks the B&M is is awsome. the shif is shorter then my old one and has a more positive feel to it. dont minde the black but will get the chrome one when it comes out.
