B&M Shifter Soon to Release

Some good news B&M will be releasing a new upper shifter assembly, it is made out of steel instead of aluminum.

This is so cool! I am planning to get a B&M short shifter soon. I just saw that thread..so I would like to get a new upper shifter assembly and polished short shifter. How much does it cost?? When will it be release?

My B&M handle broke at the threads 2 weeks ago.

I tried leaving a message at B&M this AM but their voice mail is not working. Whenever I remember to call them it is always after hours.

Patrick and I cut down the hurst handle, drilled and installed it on the B&M shifter assembly, so I would not have to put the Hurst shifter back in.

I did a similar thing, except I didn't cut the hurst handle down, I just redrilled the original.

jack i am going to send you a GEN10 shifter with a jedi lever, swap it for the old gen 4 when you get the new stuff from me.

Update .... they have released the upgraded steel shifter lever .... this is only for people that have broke the aluminum one that came stock with the B&M ... also they asked that I pass on that the pistol grip shifter is the culprit for most of the broken shifter levers.

Just a side observation....might want to look at what holds onto the shifter grip as cause of broken levers. Pistol grip in itself will not cause the lever to just break....
