Damn that body is straight! A little better than "not bad". That car is NICE!
It photographs well, but up close you begin to see all of the little things that it needs.
Quite a bit of the trim needs to be straightened, buffed, or replaced.
Paint gaskets under the marker lights, mirrors, door handles, and locks are missing or damaged.
The seat belts are gross, and missing the shoulder harnesses.
The seat covers are great, but they didn't replace the foam when they were recovered.
The A/C and cruise control are missing parts and/or don't work.
The rear defog is completely gone (except for the dash switch).
The visors need help.
The instrument lamps are all burned out, and the gauge faces are all badly faded.
The suspension and steering boxes are about shot.
One of the rims was curbed and bent.
The glove box liner is completely gone.
The center console was broken in transit.
The dash had two holes cut in it for speakers.
The passenger seat adjuster is broken.
The trunk is missing the jack and spare, and the fuel fill tube was painted (supposed to be bare metal).
The passenger exterior door skin is beginning to crack around the door handle mounts.
...that's the short list.
But hey, it runs, and the paint's pretty nice. It's a good place to start a restoration.
