Baffled in Pasadena. Truck won't start.

added jumper to clutch safety switch. still no startup. for the past month the truck has had voltage drop on gauge while driving and then it would come back up to normal. When it wouldnt start, jumper cables always worked. replaced the altenator and the battery is fully charged. but now it wont turn over at all. very strange scenario, im thinking of buying a new starter and waiting for it to come in and replacing that. since i swapped the ASD relay. Jumpered the safety switch i just have not tested voltage at the starter yet.

Zcx I have factory manifold

Bit you didn't replace battery yet? There's your issue possibly.
Verify you have 12.3 or more volts during cranking. Could be a bad cell or two

I'm wondering about a bad ground, but I can see a bad cell

Checked neutral position switch, start pushbutton, optima redtop is good and charged. When i hit the start button nothing happens. No codes. WTF!!!

I would try checking the grounds. Me and E where baffled for hours on a starting issue with his truck, and finally found it to be a ground. I would locate every ground, undo then and sand that area to ensure hood ground. Could be that. I plan on doing all mine when the snow is gone and it gets a little warmer.

If you can get under the truck, Turn the key to on position with parkbrake, set of course. Get under the truck and boost it directly to the starter until it starts.

Mine is an auto & about every other year it forgets where park is. So I have to take it in for repairs.
