My headers and HFC should be here any day now. i alrdy have my back cats cut off and a chunk of 2.5'' welded in (have no idea why he use 2.5''). The pieces are roughly the same size as the cats were.

will the clamps that come with it line up and fit on? or will it have to be welded from the back of the cats to the existing exhaut line?

I don't have mine on yet, belanger cat back as well, the clamps seem like they'll do just fine without any welding.

do you have the QC extension pipes too....i just did mine and its a straight bolt on....but there is a part where it goes back into the stock pipe then the exhaust that is 2.5.... im gonna go to the muffler shop so they can put on the straight 3in piping.....i will take some pics to show you what im talking about....

good deal. i have an 06 RC, so its a little different from the 04-05's, proly should have mentioned that.
my main concern is that they will have to clamp on where the pipes that are in theplaceof the back cats are. and wont fit cuz he welded in the wrong size.

i may put the headers/cats on and leave everything hang and drive it to his shop and juist have him weld in 3'' pipe up to the cats then clamp them together just incase problems in the future

hey hank,, how long did it take from the day you oordered the headers for themto show up, i know they take a while??? are they made to order cuz these truck are that rare???

well i ordered mine thru tony and about a week later they arrived. when i ordered them, even tony thought it would be a few weeks cuz they are surposed to be built to order but i guess i got lucky and they had a set laying around.:aetsch:

mine came in about 3-4 weeks...

and everything bolted right up to the maggie cat-back on mine...
