Anyone that has moved their battery to the rear of the truck... Have you had any problems with slow starting? Thinking about doing it soon along with radiator overflow and washer res to clean up the bay.

Someone had that problem. Batram maybe.
If the gauge of the wire is big enough, It "shouldn't" be a problem. :dontknow:

Unless JMB started using a thicker cable then yeah it'll turn over a little slow, I've had mine for about 2 years with no problems. My truck sits A LOT so my battery has trouble after its been sitting but after driving the truck for a little bit it charges back up. I'd buy the kit again and wouldn't worry about the cables, if you're making your own setup the I would go ahead and use thicker cables.

I know the trucks are different, but I have one on my Dakota and I have never had problems with it. Got the kit from Summit. Run a new positive wire and ran the ground wire out the bottom of the bed to the frame. Works great.

what sucks about them here is, mo ving your battery to the rear car or truck, you need a cut off switch in a panel for them to see, just incase.

for the track purpose anyway. if no switch, No run. thats why I wont move it.
