Battery reloction

Just to give a little reminder, relocated the battery to under the rear of the bed. Here's a few pics, and notes

1. Pulled battery box and cables.
2. used a cut off wheel and used parts from factory battery box to relocated fuse box and remount the ABS module.
3. replace alternator cable with a larger size 2 guage
4. replace engine to frame ground wire with 2 guage
5. ran a 1 guage cable to rear of truck and mounted
6. custom built battery holder in place of spare tire.
7. connect ground cable from battery to frame and positive cable to battery and go.

What, no spare?

Good job Stinker, did you fabricate the box yourself? Also are you using existing holes to hold the holder in place or did you make new holes? Thanks.

Basically made the box myself, ran 4 3/8 bolts up thru the bottom with aluminum tubing to protect the battery then mounted it beside the frame rail and drilled into the support for the spare tire carrier to mount it.
