I installed a used BBK throttle body last night.
Now I cannot get the P0123 code to go away. I have installed the TPS sensor multiple ways and re-set the PCM every time. The TPS sensor is less than 6 months old.
SRT2SLOW suggested that I adjust a screw on the TB and check the voltage of the TPS sensor so that it reads 0.8 Volts. I can find no such screw except the screw on the side of the TB that forces the throttle plate open so many MM.
The TPS sensor has 3 wires. 2 of them read voltage and the third does not
I adjusted that screw about 30% of the way open with the hopes that it would alter the voltage on the TPS but it did not change anything. If someone who has a BBK TB could take a pic of tyne screw i'd appreciate that. I cannot stand having a "check engine light"
Also the truck occasionally misses.
