I use the K&N diesel drop in. When I dyno'd the K&N flat vs. diesel cone, there was 1 hp difference.

Yep...not much difference.

I run the K & N filter in the stock air filter housing. I was going to buy the cold air intake system but found that there was not that much of a horsepower gain for the $500.
