I'm jealous of your timeslips
Slap a blower on that bad boy, knock 1/2 second off your 1/4mile time, and beat the record:rock:

Vman455 said:I've heard this said many times, but I'm not sure I buy it entirely. The reason is: the Gen I and II Vipers came with flexible, ribbed intake tubing (like the trucks, only smaller) from the factory, except for ACRs which had rigid, smooth tubes and K&N filters. Those smooth tubes and filters were enough to certify the engine for 10 more horsepower and ft-lbs, and smooth tubes are commonly one of the first mods for owners now. When I look at a stock intake on a Ram SRT-10, I see a giant version of the stock intake tubes on a Gen II, with pleats and creases all over the place. Is there really nothing to be gained by smoothing the airflow through there?
