I have been lowering my shift light to avoid hitting the rev limiter. With the lightweight flywheel and the rapid rap of the Roe SC I think I will end up with the shift light at 52 or 5300...much more testing necessary at this point. The other problem that I think only slicks will solve is that when hitting a gear hard the wheel spin is so severe that you can hit the rev limiter very quickly, so not only have I lost grip, I also have the rev limiter kick-in...hence 1/2 to 3/4 sec loss, maybe more.
Would like to re-open the discussion about light vrs. heavy flywheel under boosted situations!
