that is the 3rd time i have heard that name in the past day.
no, landstar.
i heard wylie is aweful.
thats the company that took the tower sections to utah from dansville.the guys were nice,but the company is quite unorganized imo.

so the guy i replaced bid this load poorly.
3 days of downtime, and i am losing 15-30 a day sitting here.
load will only pay because its going 4000 miles to get to utah. suppose to be going thru north dakota, and Idaho.
they just dont know.
vermont is only allowing 2 blades thru each day. i think they will let us thru friday.
we leave tomorrow.
GE blades BTW.
not 1 inch overhang in the rear.
trailer tires are to the back. this is going to be miserable on the skinny roads.
good news is the controller is wireless.

i am on the way home, i might have just bought my own trailer in Lafayette.... lol
been wanting one for a while, i stopped 10 hours early in the day so i could buy it. i got it for a price of half of what they sell for up in NY. i am thinking of picking up a 4x8 to sell in NY. the price is so low i cannot pass up. i think the ATV shop would sell it for me.

a new chapter has opened in my life.
starting here:
i made a pickup on the way home to cover my deadhead, and bought a few trailers as well.
it was a slow week, so i decided to see what else was shipping.
i got this:
maine to CA, what a trip. i am loving the freedom of stopping where ever i want, whenever i want. i can run 3 hours or 30, however i want to do it. and best of all, it pays 70% more then my old job. so here i am farther west then i have ever been. new mexico! on my way to the west coast. i have two loads coming back.
so what does the future hold? i am ordering a trailer when i get home, 42' deck, 10' of it is hydraulic lift, as well as hydraulic legs. wow, here i go.

i am still an escort, but no longer do it. i prefer this new job for both personal and cash flow reasons.
one of the big issues with escorting is being paid, 30,60,90 days is normal, and some times not at all.
in this job if someone does not pay, i keep what they are shipping. lol. i am paid before the straps come off the load.
the thing i like most is i am on my own time. i can take a hour long lunch, drive for 2 hours or 30, stop to use whatever rest room i wish, depart whatever time in the am i want to , take vacation days whenever, wherever i want.
i will not be doing any of that this year thou, 16 hour days are common, am i am a work-a-holic.
