Billy Boat BB Exhaust System

You scared the sh!t out of me when you said you had to cut the B&B's at the collector.

I know the OE manifolds have fixed collector positions were as the Bassani's will allow 360deg of flange rotation.

The only thing that I'm worried about is were the B&B's will lie when bolted to the Bassanis in relationship to the Borla. Will it be a straight shot? Will I need pipe bent? How much room or what is the distance between the end of the B&B's to the front of the Borla?

However, I see were you are coming from and the battles you had to fight. The goal is to make a set of all SS adapters that look like they should be there. I may have to take it some where.

If this turns into a muscle fu#$, Im just going to buy their cat back. I know its pricey, but I can get a decent price and will have no headaches. Im still considering that if someone offers to buy my Borla Mopar in mint shape.

Listen to the clip at the B&B site. The Ram sounds like a Viper. I have to have this sound. Most importantly, I need to loose those restrictive cats.

Has anybody out there done this mod with a BORLA catback? Anybody? :dontknow:

crickets chirping....

Never said I had to cut it at the collector ;) I had to do it down stream, you wont.

If you are putting the B&B's up to Bassani's then you wont have any problem. The only mods will be on the Magnaflows.

My Viper tech noted that my truck had the best sounding exhaust out of any Viper he has ever heard (and he goes to the track all the time). Of course the cam helps a little ;)

Anyway, there are some simple mods to make on the Magnaflows at the exhaust shop with your set up...no worries ;)

Kewl.

You do keep mentioning the Magnaflow.;) Maybe I'm just confused but I have the Mopar Borla and not the Magnaflow. You're right though. I dont believe there will be any issues with the connection of the B&B's to the Bassani's.

Also, will performance suffer going from a 3" mid pipe to a 2.5" cat back pipe?

Then again, the Bassani's are 2.5". So its multiple transitions. Im thinking, why not keep it all 3" and just go with the B&B catback.

Dunno :dontknow:

But thanks for all of your help!

Anybody else with some input?:D

Well, if its not a $ thing , the a matched exhaust is easier and typically performs better. Either way with a 2 5/8" vs 3" , replacing the mids with the B&B 's will give you some nice gains ;)

I have Gibson headers with B&B complete system with the High flo cats removed!! Got it from Roe, they did the install also!!

Still looks like new and i have at least 20,000 miles on it!!

And did I mention it sounds great!!:D

I would have gone with Bassani or Mopar headers, but they were not available at the time!!

SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD to me.

Dont bother calling or emailing this guy.

Did I mention they are sold?

:dancing: :D

That's a smokin' deal, I think I paid 1400 for just my catback - not gonna do the mids until I buy longtubes...congrats

I saw B&B's complete system for the SRT-10 Ram at SEMA 2 weeks ago, it had the catless mids, headers to tips, etc, looked awesome! however at 4K for the entire system I will be content with my magnaflow catback for now! :)
