Block

No, crank sensor location and knock sensor addition for 05-06 that is cast into the block.

No, not at all.

Gen three Viper/SrtRam engine 101:

2004, no knock sensors and the crank sensor was triggered off the flywheel through the back of the block. All blocks in 2004 were the same as the car block being as there was no quadcab with an automatic. Minor oiling issues to 3/4 rod bearing. Only year car or truck that had a smaller diameter harmonic balancer bolt.

2005, addition of knock sensors and a few oiling changes. Engines typically showed less oil pressure at idol than 2004 but oiled the 3/4 rod bearing better. The crank sensor was moved to the passengers side of the block and is now triggered of the crank. Standard cab six speed trucks remained the same as the car block but there were changes made to the bell housing area on the blocks used with the automatic in the quad cab. Automatic and six speed blocks will interchange but there is one bell housing bolt that will not line up.
Crank bolt that holds balancer on is now larger.

2006, Block is the same as 2005. Rumors that cam timing was changed slightly to help with emissions.
Oil pick up and oil pan were changed in the ram to put the sump in the middle of the engine as opposed to the rear as it was in 2004 and 2005

The only different transmission/bell housing wise is a dowl pin. That's it.
