Not true at all. I have the blocks as proof! Number 1+2 taken out of em all and have replaced a few broken pistons on #1 while all others are perfect ;)
    3 has the oiling issue.

    sorry guys

5500 bucks isn't gonna do it. I am considering parting out..... possibly selling the entire truck (maybe eBay) or just push it in the back of the shop and deal with it down the road.

Once I decide, I will certainly post here.

And no... there is no need to get advice from a dealer or shop. I don't need to pay money to find out the motor is wasted.

I'm going to climb under today and check out the carnage.... will report.

The last truck I bought similar to the mileage and condition of yours was sold for less than your current high bid, and that one didn't have a hole in the block. Just an FYI if you do decide to sell.

    thanks for the input

but I will let it become a future barn find before I part with it that low. Who knows, if it sits around long enough, maybe I will put it back on the road.

    We'll see.

Overreving. Past 6000 isn't good for it as well as letting off of the throttle from a high rpm to hear the popping. Yanking the piston down from the top with high vacuum will elongate the big end of the rod which in turn will grab the bearing and eventually spin it. Once the bearing moves it has no oil and will fail shortly. We always expect the failure at moment of abuse.....just a theory of mine.

do you actually want the truck? or any other truck?

i'd consider a trade/cash option to trade you my truck for an 05.

    i want another 05...

i'd also be a player on the truck...

i can also give you a complete breakdown on what you'd get if you decide to part it. i did that to my old 05.

Hello Insurance Company? Yes, my truck was parked out back when it spontaneously combusted.

Can we get a mod to delete this thread immediately so this is an option for the OP? Lol

not looking for a trade option, but....

if you are interested in the truck, let me know. I have a couple Viper and car shops putting word out as well. Thanks for the offer on trade, but I think I am gonna pick up a Raptor next.

This story sounds familiar... have you been posting on the SRT10 Facebook page under a different name?

I didn't think banning him seemed like the right thing to do.

Then I read this and realized we should've banned him a long time ago. :D
