I don't know what you base that on. I've had mine for 6 years and have done nothing but basic maintenance. And it was used before I got it.breederofkoi said:I'm not sure if the newer models are any better to work on than the older ones, but I'd suggest finding a a different make of machine, not a "BOBCAT". They are a pain in the ass to fix, talk about 10 gallons of shit stuffed into a 5 gallon bucket.
Based off of personal experience.. It's a personal preference thing, I think they are the hardest machine to work on, plus I don't like the belt drive. Most def my least fav brand of skid to do work too. Too much crap crammed in there (you ever had the cab tilted on it). Keep an eye on control valve seals, they can harden/crack & leak if the machine sits a lot.SilvrSRT10 said:I don't know what you base that on. Skids are the best to run a wheelie with.. just pop the bucket off, reverse a little bit and slam it forward. The counterweight keeps em from rolling over, can run on 2 wheels forever.kickinassrt-10 said:I used to do rental equipment deliveries for volvo and got to mess with all the construction equipment form the MC70- the big boy MC110 they were a blast to drive/ wheelie, also had all the attachments except that nifty contraption there...those were the days!!!!
