After the photoshoot showing off burnout...had to make a trip to the tire store....:D

I dunno guys...I just put the Pirellis back on...I know a lot of people bag on them....but they seem to be a great tire to me....:dontknow: :dontknow:

ZR rated...etc...I did put the R/C spec tire on....

I think I overpaid a little....$250/tire all in...mounting/balancing etc....I know that is probably $20-$30 too much per tire...but they are my local place...for alignment etc and they have always been real cool....so I figured the extra $$ to support the local guy was a good investment....

Hey Mike , You know better than anybody what works for you man. If you like it , Then you like it.

i am ordering tires for the second time. have 7 days before they have to tell me whats up but not a big deal, it is about time i just let the truck sit in storage. was fun to drive the 4x4 this week:rock:

Most of my 'play money' goes towards motorcycle stuff and I too prefer to support my local dealer(s) even though they are a few dollars more in most cases. Building that local relationship can pay dividends in many ways.

its all about what makes you happy with your truck...the pirellis dont get along with the roads here to good...

I will have new meats on saturday...i went with the general grabbers.....they arent zr rated, but then again...i dont find myself going that fast anyway...i paid $162 per tire at discount tire.......

I'm goin for the Grabers too. They hook real good, wear better and don't zig zag you all over the road. but i know of no 1000 hp rides runnin them

So where are the photos showoff! Show us what makes your hybrid a true hybrid.

Pirelli's do the job well, maybe a few bucks more that others, but stick with what you like.

Pirelli are supposed to be Italian (dunno where they build it, maybe in Taiwan)

You know what? here those tires cost $341!!!

I went with the Toyo Proxie ST's.

They do not have the problem of darting all over the road like the Pirellis did, but they are not worth a shit in the rain. In the rain it's like driving on ice. I will probably shit can them come winter time, and go back to the Pirellis.

The pirelli's coming from a local shop here costs about 237 euro/pc, mounted and balanced. that's arround 325 buckies
