Noticed today that my brake pedal moves from side to side quit a bit. Has anyone else seen this? I took a look at it and nothing looks broken

i had the same thing happen to me when i tried to bleed the brakes in my truck standing outside the cab....... the slightly sideways pressure breaks the plastic guides in the electric pedals........ you can adjust to a different height, it will help - but the only real fix is to have the pedal assembly replaced......:(
mine was done under warranty. :)

Thanks, I didnt think I remembered it doing that before. Now wonder how I did that
Well to the dealer I go. I need to see about the steering wheel also, its getting worse.

what's wrong with the steering wheel?

It's wearing really bad. Only 13k on the truck. It shouldn't be doing that I would imagine. The wierd part is where it is wearing isnt where my hand is that often.
I got a quote from a company that recovers them and they want $300. Might go that route because if Dodge replaces mine, it is just going to do it again I would think.

You ask about the steering wheel?

Of course not. :argh:

im really leaning towards a company to recover. The factory one is just going to do it again. I did however ask about my pedals and the fact there are a bunch of black rubber numbs broken off. He wanted to see if what they needed to order has new pedals or not.

If I recall correctly Django has someone local who recovers steering wheels and does a great job. I've got 90K miles on mine its just now starting to show some wear on the top....go figure.
