Noticed today that my brake pedal moves from side to side quit a bit. Has anyone else seen this? I took a look at it and nothing looks broken
i had the same thing happen to me when i tried to bleed the brakes in my truck standing outside the cab....... the slightly sideways pressure breaks the plastic guides in the electric pedals........ you can adjust to a different height, it will help - but the only real fix is to have the pedal assembly replaced......walbert said:Noticed today that my brake pedal moves from side to side quit a bit. mines showing alittle wear too, i just put a ~$15.00 cover on mine.walbert said:It's wearing really bad. Only 13k on the truck. It shouldn't be doing that I would imagine. The wierd part is where it is wearing isnt where my hand is that often.
I got a quote from a company that recovers them and they want $300. Might go that route because if Dodge replaces mine, it is just going to do it again I would think.
yes that will save a $300.00 sterring wheel, thats what I did with mine.moparracing said:mines showing alitlle wear too, i just put a ~$15.00 cover on mine.![]()
