breather hose to volant intake

I don't see a problem with this but thought i should double check.

When I pulled the old box off I totally missed the breather hose coming off of the valve cover.

I took a section of soft hose off the factory set up, and then basically just stuffed the hard hose into the hole. And I will seal the hole once it warms up a bit. Any problems with doing that?

Also is anybody sealing the gap between the hole in the box and where the tubing fits in? if so what did you use?

I just went and bought some hose at an auto parts store that fit perfectly!

Yeah just doing something temporary for now just making sure it'll be alright.

I was also woundering it u could use silicone or sumpthin to seal the duct to the box. the only thing is it would have to have some flex becouse the duct shakes with the engine and the box is stationary


Also has anyone sealed the hole where the factory box picked up the air through the fender. I would like to get it where 100% of the air comes from the scoop and only the scoop
