BRIGHTER HEADLAMPS

Just for shits and giggles, I went to Pep Boys and bought Crystal Hyper White by 3A Racing Performance. Part number 46-9907.

Damn OEM are significantly brighter. WTF. Shined the beams on the garage wall. Oem is noticable brighter. Not quite as blue/white but brighter. These were $42.99.

Dont buy these pieces of $hit.

Now I have to go back and waste fu%^in gas.

Well at least you saved others from the mistake.....

I think you are right. I exchanged those POS lamps for the Silverstars.

The Siverstars are whiter and a touch brighter. They are a better lamp.

HOWEVER, I expected more brightness. Will the PIAA give me what I'm looking for?

I really don't want to mail order the PIAA's and realize they suck. Then, Im stuck with the crap.

Anyone use a light meter? :idea: Yeah, I know..probably not. Wishful thinking.
The SilverStar lamps are 1000 Lumens. What are the PIAA's? I went to there web site and specs are NOT given.

Im going to order the PIAA's but there are two models. I need to figure out which one is the brightest.

I just bought the silverstars. Ill probably remove them and put them back in the box. I cant return them. Does anybody want them?

35.00 and Ill ship them anywhere in the continental US.
