Well I am pretty sure my bands are shot and being that I want to go more power I need either a rebuild which i was quoted 5k or a trans already prebuilt. Let me know! Or Maybe even 6spd swap it.

I say 6 speed swap! If I ever have problems that is what I am going to do. I feel that the 48re will always give us trouble.... Plus rowing the gears is fun as hell!

4l80e with a Gear Vendor gear splitter will give you a strong reliable 8 gear setup.
