Bumpers or no bumpers at the rear frame

So I just got them today installed them about 10 minutes before this post. They look sturdy painted black and the red bump stop aftermarket of course and you can swap the small one for lowered trucks to the the standard long cone for stock height trucks. I may swap out the red poly bushing for a standard height one and compare on my lowered set up and see what I feel is best for me. Let me know what your opinion is on this as well.View attachment 69434View attachment 69435View attachment 69436View attachment 69437View attachment 69438
Now you made the club THE 3 red bitton club hahaha !

Looks good and a straight bolt on replacement ... appears if the button ever fàlls off its a simple replace , are the red bumpers available seperate for replacement ..a spare set of rubber should be a cheap replacement and something as a spare ..

I still see a lot of space for the truck to actuallY utilize or actually need them ! Thats a lot of distance/ travel between the frame and axle housing .. I didnt see where any contact was ever made on my trucks axle housing or any where else ...
Possibly they are needed for a slammed lowered truck or carrying a whole lot of weight in the bed of the truck is what they are for ...
I have the lowering shackles on mine and no marking of impact ..

What is the measurment from the bump to where it could impact ?

Another thought with the distance from the frame to Axle housing is , the shocks might hit the bottom out point with lowering or a huge amount of weight in the truck !

What amount lowering kit is on the truck ?

The drop i have is the 2/3. I will get measurements tomorrow. With it on the resting position in the pictures I still had it in the air supported by jackstands and floor jack.

That makes sense why the space seems so large if it's still on the jacks. Nice post thank you

I remember somebody saying with a 2/3" kit you can only put about 400lbs in the bed and it will be on the bumpstops. I don't know if that was with stock bumpstops or those short ones.

Curious ,, on the factory bumpstops can the bumper part be replaced using the fatory bracket ?

What is the bolt spacing on the bracket ?

From the bottom of the red poly button to the top of the axle where it should make contact is roughly 45mm.

Damn tight ... cant put any weight in the bed or it will bottom out .. wonder if hitting the throttle hard if it makes hard contact when the rear of the truck squats ..
