Wanted to wait untill all the invoices came in to share with you. Bought a used Paxton that changed hands a couple times on the forum. I paid a fair price and was told it was complete. It was far from complete. When taken off the truck it was installed on the pulley on the belt tensioner was left on the stud that goes on the idler pulley was left on several fittings were left on nuts bolts spacers were short, No indexing tool for the crank,no special size drill bits and list goes on to the tune of 600.00 Be advised that the split second box is different between the R/C and the Q/C Paxton sells them for a grand. I made that mistake. DC perf will recalibrate for 300. Im not unhappy just want buyers to know

Yep, always be careful when buying something..especially something as complicated as a blower kit...lot of stuff to make it work right....and usually it's not the seller trying to rip off anyone....just lack of knowledge about what they are selling.

I, of all people, understand what you went through Bud. I just bought Gregg's kit, which was advertised as "every nut and bolt" included. Well, I haven't even begun the install and already I've purchased from Paxton an oil feed kit ($72), oil return kit ($71), crank pin kit ($80), misc. nuts, bolts and spacers ($20) and still have to buy the idler pulley ($??). Although I don't think Gregg did this itentionally, I do feel he should not have advertised it as every nut and bolt included. Especially when he didn't install the kit in his truck. How could he know it included every nut and bolt? But, it's all good. Hopefully I won't have anymore big issues.:)
