So, I hear a buzzing noise while driving my truck. It sounds like it is coming from the speakers. I have a pioneer navi unit in there. Though the buzzing still happens while the head unit is off. The frequency of the buzzing changes as I increase speed, but not RPM. The buzzing completely stops when I stop moving, even if I rev the engine. So, this leads me to believe it is interference from the VSS possibly? However, not sure how it is coming through the speakers, even when the head unit is off. From what I can remember, the VSS is not really needed, even for GPS. Just helps the GPS when you are moving very slowly. So, I am thinking about trying to wrap the VSS wire, maybe that will prevent the interference. Otherwise, I am thinking about just clipping it...but not 100% sure that I don't need it. Only other thing I can think that it may be is a grounding issue. But, what makes me think that it's not is because RPMs don't affect it, only speed. Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated!
