mine was missing too bro, but I took a tap and die and just threaded the stock one a tad more and worked great.

moparracing said:really ? you don't remember off hand what the tap size was, do ya ?
what about this i hear about the stock bushing & an aluminum outer bushing that i have to remove ? i thought it was a one piece, but it sound like i have a two piece to remove ?
thanks.
so you adjusted both sides til they touched, then one full turn on the passenger side after that ?Stinker said:Pushing it apart..
the install is pretty easy, well most of it![]()
the only bad thing is the front bushing, and actually if ya look at both sides, its pressed in from one side, I actually took a big fookin hammer (12lb) and knocked it right outbut a press is tons easier.
but I adjusted mine down untill it touched on the drivers side and one turn on the pasenger side,.

why didn't you just grind the head of the bolt down ?WILDMAN said:I just installed mine last week. The new short center bolt was to big to fit into the axle housing saddle. I had to open up the hole slightly to get it to fit in.

I did grind the second one down, but the first hole had a bad burr on it. Not sure why. The saddle needed fixed anyway. Most center bolts I have found here have slightly bigger heads than the stocker so I really didn't see any difference as long as it fit.moparracing said:why didn't you just grind the head of the bolt down ?
