CALLING ALL SO CAL SRT 10'S IRWINDALE RACEWAY...5/14

Had a good time. I saw that Blue X-runner there but did not get a chance to run it.

I had a best of 8.5 and a worst of 10.1 all with street tires. :D

No 10's but there were a few SRT-8's(2 Cherokees and one Magnum) plus a red Ferrari. A buddy in his Cherokee clicked off a 7.47 all motor. There was also a QC Hemi with the full SRT-10 body kit and hood there but I did not get to see his times as I was always in line for the next race. I got a total of 10 races in did not even stop in the pits once.

BTW, the Ferrari lost to a Cobra Mustang.

You guys missed out again. I went to the CA Speedway today and managed the following:
R/T ........ .271
60' ....... 1.920
330 ...... 5.564
1/8 ....... 8.678
MPH .... 78.54
1000 ... 11.421
1/4 ..... 13.762
MPH .... 96.11

I was hoping to duplicate my 8.553 1/8 run from Thursday at Irwindale but I could not do it. Different track on a different day. Supposedly the 1/8 mile track at Irwindale is at 300 elevation compared to 1300 for the CA Speedway and at the 1/8 mile it was at night with better weather not like today. I was told by another racer that the DA at the track today was like 2500 ft. Can anyone here confirm this? And maybe compare it to my runs Thursday?
