does anyone know the o.d. width and hight of the valve springs. i ordered some from comp cams and the ones they sent me were 1.509" wide o.d.....and are way too big for my heads. they said those are the measurements they got off an 05' viper...is that correct?

Free length is 2.165"
1.750" installed height.
Width (?), I am not near the shop, maybe someone else can help you with that one...
Right around 1" O.D. I would think...

so does anyone know if the heads (valve springs) are different on a viper than our trucks...i wouldnt think so
 
Not a problem bro, sorry for the short responses, was on the tele:)

but depending on the one he ordered, I am sorta like you , I think there springs are a bit overkill, I mean we do run out of hp at around 5700+- a few

and those springs should be good to about 6500:p
