Saw this yesteday:

The Detroit Free Press reports that General Motors has green-lit production of the extremely popular Chevy Camaro concept. While GM spokesperson Steve Harris would not confirm questions on the Camaro's status last week, others within GM state top brass has given it the thumbs up. GM chairman Rick Wagoner may give the official word as early as this Thursday. We have to wonder if the news of the Dodge Challenger getting the go for production lit a fire under the collective butt of GM.

It's good to see this. I couldn't believe when they cancelled production in the first place. Hope they bring back the firebird too, I would like to see a T/A with the Z06 motor in it!

If the camaro looks anything like the show it will pretty sweet! 08' -09' should be a very interesting year for pony cars. It will be a nice change.

Not to mention it's one ugly ass car.

Personally I like it. I think it looks very Mopar inspired, with the low roofline. And I am glad to see them bring the nameplate back, there should always be a Camaro in the world.

I think the car is very similar to the Challenger..... In fact, I see little overall difference at all between the Camaro and Challenger.

I'd consider a Camaro if the damn trunk is big enough for a set of golf sticks.... The Mustang sure isn't....Unless of course, you carry a 3 club bag....

And, quite frankly, even though the Challenger might be a really choice ride. I would never make another DCX purchase again in my life. I'd rather have jailhouse sex with Mikey and a tag team of middle eastern masochists than do business again with those assholes......

..... 'scuse me... after that thought, I must now thoroughly bathe.

that is what you get when you cross a Cadilac with a Nissan Morana.

Pardon me for mentioning it, but not only did you mispell Cadillac and Murano but I fail to see any similarity to either vehicle.:dontknow:

Please help me out here.....

I like the side how it flows to the rear, but the front just doesnt look right. Its looks too much like the Joker smiling at you?

I hope they do build it. GM has some sad inventory right now. Other than Cadillac, Vettes and some of the GMC's, thats an ugly looking line of vehicles.
