Wot through the gates. Done.
just sold my truck to a guy from the states. Its not hard but its a pain in the a$$. all you need is the bill of sale, and a letter of compliance from dodge. thats the pain. In order to get it I had to have a work visa for the states, or a job letter saying where my employment is going to be. we just made up a letter of employment so to speak. other than that i just had to give current odometer reading, vin # name, address. like i said its easy but a pain.
Not much. Paper work of sale. DMV inspection and registration. Done.
I'm a little confused. Who needs the work visa or job letter? What does that have to do with me buying a car from someone in Canada?
Banks should be able to do an electronic transfer. What's the name of the bank? RBC, Scotia etc.?
do a wire transfer and be done with it. easiest, most secure way.
You will have no issues with CIBC. Do an electronic transfer and you will be good to go.
