I nose on Ebay daily and recognized the BATRAM instantly. I wonder if he gave them permission to use his truck?

About to get some sleep now. Mind you, as black as The Batram is, it could probably pass as Satan's personal ride LOL. Maybe someone should make a "666Ram", a sinister red/black combo machine.

On topic, I sent the seller a question which went something similar to this: "Hi mate, just wondering if I receive a nice discount as you're using my truck to help sell your rims? Cheers, Carl aka Carlwalski" hahaha. To be honest, I don't mind, it's not the first time I've seen it posted around on different sites for odds and ends, I guess I should be somewhat proud that they chose it to use as their "poster truck". Then again, only takes a simple email to ask if they can use it...... :dontknow:

Atleast they are not claming it as their own. I have another truck that I have lost a couple of times do to internet thieves. Right now it is on You Tube with someone claiming it as theirs.

I agree that they should have asked but to be fair to them they probably just found your truck on an image search and had no idea who you are or how to get in touch with you to ask.

No worries mate, nothing as of yet but in future a simple email would be nice for permission but no dramas! You seem like a nice enough guy. Not sure if it matters but my rims are actually satin lol, yours are gloss? People won't notice from my photo though, just letting you know. Cheers!

I remember one time years ago when I had my 10-sec Fox-body Mustang, it got put on E-bay and in some Mustang forum For Sale ads... I don't know what the seller really had, but if he sold it, the buyer didn't get my car.

It was strange. I reported it to e-bay, but that's about all you can do.

This is different though, and I believe it was cool to reach out and make contact, but not ask them to remove the ad.

Thanks WA 2 FST and wow, that is sad about your situation. I hope the "buyer" didn't end up getting shafted. But for me asking him to remove it, yeah nah, I'm not that hardcore aye lol. It's not hurting anyone, just principle is all I guess but ah, life's too short hahaha. He seems cool and just replied back saying no worries and asked how I like the SRT10 trucks because he's thinking of getting one.
