Ok my friend has a exhaust guy that will cut out the cats.

Now I only want the front 2 removed. Those are the restrictive ones correct?

Will I need to buy non foulers for the O2's behind those cats?

What is the thread pitch and diameter, or part number of said non foulers?

Thanks!

leave front and remove the REAR ones! Everyone says the REAR ones are the restrictive ones!! RIGHT??

Spark plug foulers #009's for the rear sensor yes, front stays the same! CORRECT??

The fronts are the huge ones the rears are small.

I can't remove them all. With my exhaust it will be unlivable! And it's got 2 car seats I couldn't risk them fumes.

Whats a good price y'all recken?

patrick

.....:dito: ...........or replace the 4 stock cats with 2 hiflows...

with my inspection coming in one month what should i do?

Will it pass with the stock computer.?

I've always heard there is a 17hp gain by removing the restrictive set and a 20 hp gain by removing both. I cant remove both and I can't afford high flows right now................

Leave it alone until you can go with high flow or catless. Your not going to notice that much of a gain for the trouble either way. JMO:dontknow:

the front ones are the honeycomb , so you can just gut them with any type of bar, the back ones are steal mesh, and is easer just to cut out and put in a piece of pipe. in my RC I noticed a big change in performance. Aand the fumes was not bad, only certain days sitting at a light would i smell it and that was with the windows down. the foulers are #009. its by far the best mod for the money

My .02 would be to wait 'til after your inspection before you do anything.

Then lose the rears and maybe gut the fronts ?

Dude, leave them alone... the biggest thing you will notice is the foul exhaust smell. High flows are ok, but again, you will hardly notice any gains if at all.
Not worth the expense for the minimal gain unless you plan to do other upgrades in the future.

I diagree, I noticed a big difference, and it will make youre truck sound alot better,,,,,,It lets youre engine breath alot better. you will notice the horse power difference,,, at least I did

you should go without cats, you'll need sims or you need a pcm flash to eliminate your cel..... best hp bang for the buck !!!

mechanical sims are different from electrical..... with mechanical, you install the mechanical sims in the back two o2 sensor positions, then install your o2 sensor into the sims...... see pic in link:

http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=133&t=229959

i used the #42002 part's from any local parts store for ~$6.00 a packet (you need a packet for each side)....... from each of the two packets, you need to drill out one of them with a 1/2" drill bit & install them like in the pics in the link above.... you'll probably have to unplug your battery to clear the code (~30 mins) & some driving time may also be involved to clear the code.....

what they do is remove your o2 sensors out of the exhaust stream enough to fool it into thinking there are cats...... work great on my system for months.........

will it pass emissions?
depends on what they check..... if they just plug into your obdII port under the steering column - you'll pass..... but if they do a sniff test or a visual - you won't......
this is why i went with 2 sets of mids (high flow & catless with 3 bolt flanges) with headers for easy swap out for deq......:)

This is how I'm doing mine as well. Gonna use a 3 bolt header flange between the mids and the mufflers....should allow for easy change, from stock mids to catless mids, to pass inspection.
