Will the center console from an 06' RC fit in a 04' RC?:dontknow: I know it would have to be dyed:D

I don't think the style would match. The newer seats are different.

If the 2005 seats are the same as the 2004 then yes.....I put the 05 seats in my 06 and the console bolted right into the seat frame in place of the center seat/console..

I guess what I'm really asking is how would it match up to my dash? I'm sure it would bolt right up but I was concerned at how it meets the dash;)

Forgot the dash...the 06 console sticks into the dash.....but it seems somebody here modified the dash to work..:dontknow: ......here is a picture to give you an idea..

That entire dash looks '06. The center console and armrest looks '06. Only the seats look pre-'06.

I think there has been a misunderstanding here and for safety and tech's sake, TNVIPER's truck IS a 2006 model but with 04/05 door panels and seats. What he is saying is the 04/05 seats will bolt right to the 06 console. However, it's very unlikely that the front 06 console section will fit the 04/05 dash contours. You will need to get custom and massage the front to fit. Pretty easy to do by any reputable shop. Another idea could be to just use the console (box) only, not the shifter section. Just have the rear console section's front smoothed over and covered so it becomes a stand alone unit. That is of course, if all you are wanting is some extra storage space. Either way it's going to take some massaging, how much is hard to tell until you get the console and start doing some real world measurements and mocking. Take the plunge and do it. Good luck, keep us posted. :)

I wanted to point that out because the door panels don't seem to quite match with the lines of the dash. I didn't want to say because I wasn't 100% sure either way.

All good mate, wasn't directed at you, just this thread in general and it was directed at the original poster. I'm just keeping things correct. I'd hate to see Kyle read things wrong and go out and spend money on parts that he was informed, "would fit". I love tech stuff (that's one of the main reasons I come here) and have seen forum members on other boards follow incorrect instructions that have lead to serious injury from misleading or confusing info. Nothing more, nothing less. :)

Missed your post Venom....Yes, like Carl said it is a 2006 truck with 2005 seats, carpet, door panels and rear panel....dash, console and upper panels are 2006.

Cobraken the 04/05 console/seat are the same in both the 2005 RC & QC....console is different (my picture above) in the 2006 RC & QC...
